Grundfos and DAB on-demand water pumps are ideal for water boosting applications and rainwater harvesting systems. DAB Constant Pressure Pump Systems w/ VFD (Variable Frequency Drives) are designed to soft start and stop over and over again without causing damage to to pump's motor. The VFD allows the motor to gradually ramp up to meet the actual flow and pressure demand within the range of the pump's performance capabilities. Unlike a traditional on-demand pumps that come on at a single speed every time it turns on, the DAB E.SYBOX, MINI3 and DIVER pumps only run the motor at the speed that is needed to meet the demand for water. DAB constant pressure VFD pumps generally last 2-3 times longer than a traditional pump and are much more energy efficient, 230V, saving the owner money over the duration of the life of the pump.
