LUMINOR BLACKCOMB 5.1 or 6.1 UV Treatment Solenoid Module
FEATURES
- Allows for a solenoid connection on LUMINOR BLACKCOMB (5.1 and 6.1 only) products (will work on lamp failure only on LUMINOR 5.1 systems)
- Customer simply needs to purchase a NORMALLY CLOSED line voltage solenoid valve and affix the module’s supplied bare lead cord to the solenoid valve
- Connect power cable to electrical outlet and the other lead to the “future-proof” expandability port on the controller
AN ADDED LAYER OF PROTECTION
Used to power a remote normally closed solenoid valve. When used in combination with a flowmeter or UV sensor, the Solenoid Module can physically close a water line to avoid consumption of unsafe water.
Install a NORMALLY CLOSED line voltage solenoid valve (not supplied) into this junction box. Connect the power and the supplied lead to the controller. Please note that when this device is connected to a “5.1” system (without the UV sensor module), then the solenoid will close on a lamp failure mode only. When used on a 6.1 system, the solenoid will close when the UV level drops below 50%. Also note that in cases where emergency use of untreated water is required, the module can be placed into a manual override mode allowing for the flow of water in an alarm condition.
