Texas Metal Tanks 304 stainless steel cisterns.
The sidewall and bottom are 20 gauge and the top is 22 gauge. Stainless steel rivets are used in the construction process making them more durable. The tanks utilize a FDA approved NSF 61 certified sealant on the inside. Stainless steel tanks are actually an alloy - the addition of chromium to the steel greatly increases the corrosion resistance of the metal. Stainless steel tanks will generally maintain the same look throughout their lifespan. A stainless steel tank should last 50 years or more and feature a five-year warranty.
