This 2" Bulkhead Fitting is ideal for water storage tanks that include liners inside. The rigid, red washer shown in the product photos provides a hard, flat surface for the 2" outer nut to tighten against, preventing the twisting of the the storage tank's liner when the outside nut is tightened. This innovative design helps to prevent leaks around the bulkhead fitting. The bulkhead fitting and male threaded NPT nipple are all one complete molded piece, making this fitting very unique. Appropriate for poly tanks as well.
Length of 2" Bulkhead Fitting from the inside nut to the outside male thread is 4 1/2" which offers plenty of length to extend the fitting through the tank geotextile fabric, liner, and steel wall panel. Outside thread is 2" Male NPT.
Bulkhead Fitting also includes (qty 2) EPDM rubber gaskets.
