This 1" Auto-refill Float Valve includes a 1" bulkhead fitting (if needed) for attaching to the sidewall of a poly tank. If the tank already has a 1" female threaded NPT fitting, simply remove the bulkhead fitting that comes with the float valve, and screw the male threads on the float valve into the back side of the female fitting on the top of the tank's sidewall. You'll have to access it through the hatch or screw-on lid.
Adjustable pivot point allows you to set the height of the float so that it will rise and fall with the desired water level. When the float rises to the max height, the valve will close, and pressurized water will stop flowing into the tank. Conversely, when the float drops, the float will drop, opening the valve, allowing pressurized water to fill the tank.
Ideal for well water applications.
